I think that Jerry will make the team. He has good sportsmanship and he keeps trying no matter what happens. I know the coach still has some faith in him. Jerry will train and practice hard regardless of whatever anyone says he can or cannot do. "Landing on his knees, hugging the ball, he urged himself to ignore the pain that gripped his groin, knowing that it was important to betray no sign of distress."

I think that The Vigils will continue giving mean assignments that will make people intimidated. I think Jerry will start fighting agaisnt The Vigils. He doesn't seem to be afraid of them and he is very independent. In the book it repeatively shows how strong Jerry is and that he tries his hardest at everything. Sense Jerry feels bad about not selling chocolate and saying no. I think sooner or later he will start standing up to The Vigils and "rule" the school.

my favoite character in this book is Jerry. He reminds me of me whenever i was trying out for the ymca volleyball team. I didn't give up nomatter how many times i fell. I just kept getting back up, and i made the team! He shows a lot of courage and strength. He shows how some people feel when they're lonely in life, and you can tell he wants that to change. He could be a true hero to some people who are reading this book.

I also think Jerry will make the team, even though he is a little independent and doesn't let the Vigils control him. Jerry has showed them that he doesn't put up with the way they talk to people and how they give those assignments. I think the Vigils will still give assignments but I don't think Jerry will take any of them. After Jerry keeps saying "no" to getting the chocolate, that just proves he is a very strong guy and he has a lot of guts. In the end, I think Jerry will be on the team but not be very friendly with the teammates.

I think Jerry Renault is very weak body wise but has a strong mind. So I think he is going to make the team no matter what because of his courage and strength to get back up after he falls. He doesnt seem to like the Vigils very much and he goes against the assignment after the 10 days they told him not to sell the chocolate. Jerry has alot of courage to tell a teacher no about selling somthing. Jerry is still practicing with the team and he seems to me getting stronger within his body. So in the end of the story I think he is going to make quarter back and become very known.

I predict that the Chocolate War will be about slavery. The reason why I think this is becuase, In chapter the narrator say's " The mudered him". This believed me to believe that this book will be about slavery and a black kid going to school with a lot of white people. Also the white people will be racist and mean towards the character for being another color. This is my predicion but, let see how it turns out.

My favorite character is The Goober. I love the way he is always so worried about everything. He tries to get Jerry out of the Vigils assignment because he has done one before. He is important because he shows that the Vigils do have power and everyone knows that they do. The Goober seems like the sensitive type, which i like.

I think the book is going to be about a fundraiser that trinity high school is having. That starts off as helping the school.But starts to turn into a war between classmates. Also i think that the it going to start to get brutal and someone is going to get hurt. But i can't guess what the ending is going to be about.

Jerry Renault is trying to make quarterback in Trinity High school. During his practice of football he is getting beat up on. Archie Costello and Obie are in a gang group called "The Vigils". The Vigils give Roland Goubert "Goober" and assignment in Brother Eugenes room. Which is room 19. Jerry also gets an assignment that has to do with chocolate. Brother Eugene stars crying. So in the story i think that Jerry wont be known as a quaterback. he will be known as selling chocolates.

Jerry is my favorite character because he never gives up on what he wants. He went into Trinity High School wanting to play football and that's what he's determined to do. He seems to have a lot of confidence and isn't scared to say no. That's what makes the book a little interesting. He is also my favorite character because I can relate to him some what.

In this book i think that jerry will be a bench warmer on the football team. And i think that jerry will end up joining the vigils. Maybe even becoming one of the main kids in it.I also think that the chocolates will sell because the vigils are helping with the sell. I believe that Archie is going to get ahead of himself later on in the book and fail one of the assignments so the outcome being he will have to do one.

In the chocolate war I think that jerry is going to make the team,but is not going to play.he is just going to sit the bench and be a bench warmer.I also think that jerry is not going to join the vigils.and I think that the chocolate sale is going to go good since the vigils are helping out.and later on in the book I think archie is going to quit being in the vigils gang.

I think that Jerry will make the football team. He is very strong and determined. He shows this by not accepting the chocolates to sell them, ""My name is Jerry Renault and I'm not going to sell the chocolates." I think the people will follow what Jerry does by not selling the chocolates. The Vigils will get really mad but no one will care because they will all be on Jerry's side.

I also think that Brother Leon will become annoyed with Jerry refusing the fundraiser and do something dastic to him. Along with the chocoate problem i believe that Jerry will make the football team. I partially agree with Anthony, i think that Brother Leon will over because that just what he does, he seems like that kind fo person. I agree with Rio about Jerry being her favorite character. He is my favorite character also. I completely agree with how strong she thinks he is and i love how Jerry just never gives up. I think that Archie is going to do something to Jerry that will cause him to get hurt. Because at the begining of the book Archie is listing names for one of his projects. And one of the names is Jerry's. I also think that Jerry is going to learn a lesson in the end about being yourself.

I am reading the The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins.I'm predicting that this book is about some kind of games.That people really want to win badly.I'm also thinking that the game might be about football,basketball,or another sport.It also might have alot of action in it.

My prediction about the book is in the end after the book ends, I think jerry will be okay just may have a few injuries. I think this story kind of unencourages people to be diffrent cause Jerry Renault was diffrent and did'nt go with the crowd. For that little braveness he got the mess beat out of him. I think if there was a second or third book the kids would always sell the chocolates.
